How did you get started in the turf or sports field industry?
I have always loved athletics and being outdoors. When this opportunity to sell a product that involves both of those arose and I got my hands on this product specifically. I knew I wanted to work here!
What led you to a career in sales?
I have always loved talking to people, connecting, networking, and finding solutions for people. While I’m not the world’s greatest salemesman. I love relational selling!
What makes your approach or perspective unique in the industry?
I have a unique firsthand experience with many different products in the marketplace. This allows me to sell what I confidently believe is the best product out there.\
Favorite Food?
Authentic mexican food
What are you listening to right now?
I am always listening to heavy dose of heavy metal and rap music mixed with gospel music (a perfectly normal combination). I am also nerding out to “The Lord of the Rings” on audiobook.
What do you enjoy the most about working with sports field managers?
I love speaking with likeminded people who I share interests with.
Fun Fact about yourself?
I have two daughters (7 & 5) who are being raised to be little sports fanatics
Why do you choose to support KYSFMA?
The group of people responsible for getting this together are people that I trust and I know are passionate. Having been a parts of other local chapters of SFMA, this was a no brainer. I’m proud to help any way I can!
Pro Tip for turf or field managers
There is nothing that I feel qualified enough to advise on other than to remember to dedicate a healthy balance to family and home life! I know the long hours spent in all different types of weather conditions tirelessly.
What problem do you most enjoy helping your customers solve?
I love seeing a product that helps field managers do different things simultaneously and be more efficient. Also, love that my customers get the same feeling I do when I use my product. Seeing faces light up by the simplicity and user-friendly nature of our robots always gets me fired up!
